Impressive venue for a holiday stay.
10.0Excellent accommodation in an impressive classic building. If anything, the listing undersold the property - there were two bedrooms, not just one as stated in the listing. Charming views from the windows. Free Wifi had good signal. Coffee- and tea-making facilities provided with good quantity and quality of consumables. Well-equipped kitchen area. The host provided a warm welcome and the (paid extra for) breakfast had a good variety of meats, cheeses and preserves together with Orange juice to set us up for the day.
− No restaurant facilities nearby, so be prepared to drive somewhere for a meal (or call for a taxi). No lift, so be prepared to carry luggage up to the second floor - and the stories are quite high - this is a chateau, after all. (Fussy point) The coffee-bag machine made too much volume for the cups provided, so have a second cup handy to catch the overspill!
