Hospitality was very poor

Except beachside location, nothing else was great about this place.

− One word - rude staff and lame excuses for power fluctuations during mid-night. Owner said "being beach side and overload and himd conditions, power fluctuations are common". On top of it, Inverter also had some issue it seems. Midnight staff people (usually it should just be a couple, but strangely they were 2 men extra than staff couple (Akash and his spouse)) were shouting loudly and arguing on something. They were probably drunk too and were shouting right at the window of bedroom. After waiting for patient 15 minutes, when I confronted them to maintain silence during that odd time of the day, they werent listening and threatening to complain to Owner if I want to. Strangely, when I informed this to Owner next day, he seems to not get surprised. Instead saying, this is the second complaint he got and he will talk to his staff. Why didnt he take action after first instance and is he wanting to give such experience to every guest staying at that cottage ?

Rooms are clean and big enough for 4 adults and 3 kids

Very Peaceful and quiet. It was a great stay at the Very Near Beach.

This Homestay is very close to Malpe beach yet very peaceful and quiet. It was a great stay for us and truly worth the price. You get a beachfront to your own and great place to hangout. There is a fireplace which is slightly chargable but worth it. This stay is great for couples as well as groups.

Only the caretakers

− Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the price paid. Apart from the caretakers, the overall experience was disappointing Although Booking.com allows credit card payment, at check-in we were informed that the full amount must be paid directly before even seeing the room, with the explanation that the card details were incorrect. This was inconvenient and unexpected An electric kettle was listed in the amenities but was not available. As we were traveling with an infant, we had to repeatedly request hot water Since the property is not directly on the beach, mosquitoes were an issue. When requested, mosquito repellent (All Out) was not available The property is advertised as private beach and beachfront, but access involves large rocks, making it extremely difficult—especially while managing an infant and an elderly family member. The surroundings shown in the pictures (including the hammock area) were not present, which felt misleading. The air conditioner did not cool effectively even at the lowest temperature setting, and the fan regulators were broken, leaving the fan running only at maximum speed Repair and electrical work was carried out during our stay without prior notice or consent. While a partial refund of ₹1,000 was provided for this inconvenience, it does not justify the level of discomfort caused. Workers were constantly present outside the room throughout the day, which made us feel uncomfortable and prevented us from sitting outside peacefully. As a result, we also missed the sunset, which was particularly disappointing given the location The amenities mention a garden and sea view, but there was neither a garden nor a clear sea view—only sand and dustbins. Sun umbrellas mentioned in the amenities were also not available. Several amenities listed were missing: Dining table Dining area Stove top Kitchenette Kitchenware Free toiletries Electric kettle Balcony Wi-Fi connectivity was very poor and unreliable.
