Da decoração, do silêncio, da zona de lazer, em especial da piscina com espreguiçadeiras, o alojamento está situado numa zona central perto de restaurantes e pero do barco para ir à praia da ilha, para quem quizer fazer refeições tem todas as condições

− Para ser perfeito falta climatização no quarto,(ar condicionado) pois em dias quentes de verão é muito difícil dormir porque o quarto fica excecivamente quente à noite

Increible todo teníamos nuestra habiatacion salida a un patio jardín detrás de la piscina y estábamos todo el tiempo solos parecía que teníamos todo el alojamiento para nosotros solos es una maravilla las camas son muy cómodas y todo estuvo muy limpio y perfecto , se cuidan mucho los detalles !

You come to this house for the stories. The trinkets of family heirlooms; the grand, wise fig tree in the garden; the sun-baptised fishermen at the fish yard hauling their abundantly simple treasures; the throaty guffaw of the fairy boat captain; divulged tales from other guests about their stay and their lives; the reverb of locals calling out coarsely to each other in the Praça; the clams, cilantro, garlic and vinho verde; even the pigeons, the gulls and the cat under the bench have something to tell. And yes, the heat will also tell a story, as will the mosquitos, and the little imperfections you find here, as with any home. Even the warm, attentive, assiduous owner Ricardo, who quietly pops in and out to take much care in between his other work, also has some stories to tell. One story goes that the King himself once walked across the Casa floors. Maybe he did, maybe it was an innocent embellishment — perhaps it was actually His Royal Highness, the King Cat of the Square, who graced the Casa as its paws pitter-pattered across the floor. True or not, what I can say is once upon a time, this woman did step into Casa da Avo Nina and for a brief, swollen summer week, her story was very, very real.

− As all stories go, this too had to come to an end. A day prematurely unfortunately due to a booking glitch — but Ricardo is a respectable and responsible man who truly did his best to assure a lovely alternative, and was very thoughtful and considerate in discussing the issue. In the end, all this meant is this story is not over. I will have to return for the next chapter.

Fabulous find in the perfect location. Ricardo was an exceptional host.

− If I had a tiny criticism I would say that for the length of my stay, maybe a change of bedding/towel/ litter bins would have been good.
