A real gem, highly recommended
10.0Very clean rooms and common spaces, extremely comfortable beds. My room was large and equipped with a table, storage spaces, a TV, a coat rack, plenty of outlets and a nice nightstand lamp (yes, sometimes it’s the small things that count). Best shower I’ve had in Peru—so good! Incredibly nice, helpful owners (an older brother/sister pair) whom I enjoyed talking with. The location is central (~8 min walk to the Plaza de Armas) and a welcoming, calm oasis in the middle of a bustling street market. Good breakfasts.

Great staff hospitality and clean bedrooms
8.0The hotel staff was very welcoming and nice, particularly the older gentleman who might be the owner. He offered to check us in late and store our bags after checking out early in the morning the next day because of our day tour. The rooms were clean with hot water in the shower/sinks and the beds were comfortable with warm blankets.
− One minor thing the hotel could do to improve its rooms is adding more lights to the bathrooms. The bathroom in my room had a single white light, which made it somewhat difficult to see in the shower. I suggest adding a light in the shower space and changing the lights in the bathroom to a softer and warmer yellow tone. Other than this, the room was very clean and comfortable!

Great hostel in the centre of town
9.0Dante and Antonia were perfect hosts. Dante was kind enough to open up for us before 6am and let us check in early. He organised for our laundry to be washed, and took us to find a colectivo after checking out. We only had breakfast on the last morning as we had very early starts, but we were offered breakfast both days, and he was prepared to get up really early to give it to us. He was up early to see us on our way, and offered to call the tour company who sent us out to look for the driver a few blocks away. ¡Muchísimas gracias a los dos!

Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
