Great property like a palace experience

− You need to go 2 floor upstairs with luggage

− Unfortunately, our stay at this Venice apartment was incredibly disappointing. While the building itself is beautiful, with lovely furnishings and fascinating history dating back to the 1400s, there were several significant issues that made our stay far less enjoyable than we anticipated. By far, our biggest issue was the BUG BITES! All five of us woke up covered in bites after sleeping with the windows open, as Andrea had suggested. Some of us were bitten more severely than others, but my teenage son had it the worst, with literally HUNDREDS of bites all over him! We still don’t know exactly what kind of insects bit us, but it was an absolutely miserable experience, and we are still dealing with the bites after leaving Venice. This alone was enough to ruin our experience at this property. What makes this especially frustrating is that we only slept with the windows open because we were told we could not use the advertised air conditioning. I specifically booked ONLY properties with air conditioning for our entire Italy trip because it was extremely important to our family. However, when we arrived, Andrea informed us that we could not use it because of a supposed law prohibiting air conditioning after October 15. Every other property we stayed in throughout Italy allowed us to use the air conditioning without issue. Regardless of the reason, if an advertised amenity is unavailable during certain dates, that information absolutely should be disclosed in the listing BEFORE guests book. Andrea suggested opening the windows to cool the apartment at night, which led to our terrible experience with the insects. Cleanliness was another major disappointment. The apartment was extremely dusty and did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. I placed my clothes on the main bathroom floor while preparing to shower, and when I picked them up, they were covered in dust.

− The property was amazing. Its bed was our only qualm. Definitely the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.

Очень необычное и атмосферное место - настоящее венецианское палаццо с антикварной мебелью, высокими потолками, красивыми тканями и множеством интересных деталей. Всё это действительно производит впечатление, и пожить в таком доме - само по себе особый опыт. Хозяин очень приятный и внимательный. В целом это действительно красивое место. Если немного улучшить бытовые моменты, впечатление от него было бы практически идеальным.

− несколько вещей, которые немного омрачили пребывание. Понимаю, насколько непросто содержать такой старый дом, но хотелось бы более тщательной уборки. И, к сожалению, кондиционеры работали не очень хорошо: ночью они отключались, а во время нашей поездки стояла жара, поэтому спать было довольно душно.
