Incredible hosts and a wonderful place to stay
9.0The hotel was perfect for our needs. We were all racing in the Ironman event in Remich so it was a lovely base to stay. The rooms were spotless and had everything we need. The weather was exceptionally hot so perhaps a fan in the room would have been good. But the owner very kindly gave me some ice packs for my knee injury after the event. The breakfasts were delicious. So many pastries and wonderful cheese, ham and eggs. And homemade wine jelly (bought some to take home). The hotel next door served evening food so we filled up on pasta before our race. Stunning walks up into the vineyards from the doorstep. Walk up to the viewpoint and visit the wine vending machine with the perfect spot to drink your chilled wine. All in all a wonderful stay and if we race here again would definitely return.
