10.0This beautiful house with fabulous gardens is like a dream. It is extraordinary and while it is rather grand still manages to feel homely. I absolutely love it. The staff are wonderful too. I had a technical issue with my phone which as a hiker on the Caminho had become rather vital. All the people did their utmost to help and the problem was solved. It’s fantastic!!

10.0OMG. Fantastic place. Cristina was divine. She gave us a guided tour and history of the hotel. It's like staying in a perfectly preserved museum. Pool was amazing. The grounds are gorgeous with seating options throughout under trees I shady areas. You have to go up to the tower, the views are sensational. They have an honesty bar in the cellar. The breakfast is better than most large hotels. 10/10
