We had a very comfortable stay and our host went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.
9.0Mercia was an excellent host. The breakfasts were really good, and there were special touches such as homemade fudge and biscuits, and sherry for the cold evenings. There was also a fireplace ready for lighting. We had a really good stay.

10.0We only stayed one night as we were passing through Clarens. The cozy fire did wonders as the weather turned pretty cold that night. We started our day with a lovely breakfast and then headed out. Mercia was also really hospitable and made us feel right at home.
