Le paradis aux portes de la forêt de Sinharaja
10.0Toute la famille est extrêmement gentille et accueillante. Nous avons pris les 2 logements pour notre famille de 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Ils sont très confortables, propres et bien équipés avec une attention particulière pour la décoration. Ils sont dans un lieu calme à proximité de l’école et d’une rivière. Les repas sont préparés avec amour et son exquis. La mère nous a montré comment cuisiner un kottu au poulet. Nous avons effectué une randonnée d’une demi-journée avec le père et une journée entière avec le grand-père dans la forêt de Sinharaja. Les deux balades étaient complémentaires avec des explications sur la faune et la flore. Nous avons vu notamment des vipères, un scorpion, des papillons, des oiseaux tropicaux, des lézards, des singes, des grands écureuils et de multiples plantes médicinales. Outre ces deux randonnées, nous avons pu nous balader à proximité du logement voir plusieurs oiseaux comme dés martins-pêcheurs, des perroquets, des hirondelles, etc. Les garçons ont pêché dans la rivière.

10.0We found this place completely by chance while looking for accommodation in and around Deniyaya, as our main objective was to explore the Sinharaja Rainforest. We're so glad we booked it because it exceeded all our expectations. From the comfortable accommodation and delicious home cooked food to the warm hospitality, everything was exceptional. The property is run by Kasun and his lovely family, his wife and their two children who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A special mention goes to Kasun's father, Uncle Anura, an experienced tour guide, who kindly volunteered to take us into the rainforest and even guided us to a beautiful nearby river for a refreshing bath. He was always incredibly accommodating, and his knowledge, passion, and willingness to go above and beyond truly made our experience unforgettable. The entire family was incredibly welcoming, caring, and genuinely hospitable. If you're looking for a peaceful stay near Sinharaja with wonderful hosts, I highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back!

Fijne locatie
10.0We hadden een fijne nieuwe kamer. De bedden waren prima en de klamboes om het bed waren heel fijn. De douche in de badkamer is warm en leuk verdiept gemaakt zodat niet alles nat wordt. Het is fijn dat er naast de wastafel zoveel ruimte voor je toiletspullen is. De airco werkte goed, al viel soms de stroom wat uit 's avonds waardoor hij even afsloeg. De grote ventilator doet het dan nog wel, dus heel goed te doen. Mooi groen uitzicht over de rivier en boom met jackfruit. We hebben een leuke wandeling gemaakt met de eigenaar door het regenwoud waarbij hij ons veel dieren en planten liet zien (wat we anders volledig hadden gemist) en gezwommen bij een waterval. De gastvrouw kookt fantastisch! We hebben hier de beste curry's van onze hele vakantie gegeten.
− De rondleidingen door het regenwoud (die verplicht zijn, toeristen mogen niet zonder gids zeggen ze) zijn niet goedkoop (voor Sri Lankaanse begrippen), maar er worden overal dezelfde vrij hoge prijzen gerekend lees ik.
Es war sehr gemütlich, abgelegen aber echt gemütlich. Die Betreiber stecken ihr ganzes Herzensblut in ihre Unterkunft. D

10.0Vriendelijke eigenaar die ook een hele goede host is voor de Sinharaja Rainforest safari. Ik zou er zeker nog een keer verblijven. Ontbijt en diner is ook top!
