8.0Air conditioning and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was great.
− Some small ants on the bed at night but disappeared after spraying anti-insect repellant.
Great central location to charge up before heading to the Amazon jungles. Highly recommended.
9.0Basic accommodations within close walking distance of Plaza de Armas, main square in Iquitos. Max, the host, was very accommodating giving me preference over room (cooler first floor over warmer second floor). Rooms were very sparse, but they had clean linen, sheets, and soap. Water pressure was decent. AND air condtioning was very welcome in the tropical heat. Max gave me plenty of recommendtions for food and places to shop before heading out to the jungle.
