Great place to stay in Stamford but maybe for just a short stay and if youre a heavy sleeper!
7.0Room was clean tidy and well equipt, bed was comfy (if a little soft for our liking), shower powerful and plenty of hot water and they provided and refreshed the bottled water and biscuits each day which was welcome and nice.. its also in an almost perfect location, just outside the main town but within an easy 5 minutes walk of all the main shops, cafes and numerous restaurants. Free off-road parking on a first come first serve basis (enough for 5 cars in an 8 room guesthouse and with a high kerb) but we had no issues, which was great too.
− Sorry to say this but it got very noisy especially in the evenings as whilst the location was very good, it is located on a very busy main road and the noise even with the windows closed (a bit uncomfortable especially in this heat!) and ear plugs was enough to keep us awake until it calmed down later in the night. This is NOT the guesthouses fault but worth mentioning for others that may book. Unable to comment on staff as whilst they may have been on-site, we never met any during our 3 day stay but no issues getting in/about etc.

10.0The room was comfy, nice comfy bed. Very good shower. Rooms are bit small, good for a couple of nights. Host is very nice and chatty, information left in the room about local area. Parking is a real bonus in Stamford because the town is very busy.

5.0The location was great for a party we were going to in Stamford town. The room and bathroom were clean.
− The property is on a junction of two roads. In the ground floor room we had we didn't open the window so couldn't hear the traffic especially over the noise of the requested fan, which was very dusty. Poor nights sleep not helped by the nylon bedclothes. Car park very tight, we scraped the underneath of our car which was parked in the end space.
