10.0The house is a magical one in the beautiful forest, all the things you need for a relaxing stay in the nature. The owner, Satoru is a very kond and intelligent man who gave us marvellous advice about hiking on Mt. Aso. We loved everything here.
Warm hospitality, like home on the road
9.0Sanrinsha is a lovely cottage surrounded by nature, very serene and relaxing, yet everyone is so friendly. The vibe feels like the cottage was in a Studio Ghibli movie. The manager is so lovely, he was a wealth of information, not just for Takamori but travel tips for the rest of Fukuoka. Would road trip would have been so much better if we had met him earlier! He is a true gentleman and we loved staying here.

10.0Super cosy guest house with incredible views of green gardens and Forrest all around. Best bath I’ve ever had, too! Our host was kind, friendly and helpful, and gave us lots of great information about where to eat and what to see in the area. We had a lovely evening chatting with him.
