An absolutely spotless room with my own veranda & breakfast served outside every morning, and the breakfasts were amazing! The hosts could not have been more helpful & it is a delightful place to stay.

Die Unterkunft ist mega schön. Nicht nur der super schöne Vorgarten, die eigene Terrasse, auch die Gastgeber sind super herzlich und schön ! Der Vater Vimal hat uns vom Bus abgeholt und auch wieder hingefahren. Und auch sonst uns super viel ausgeholfen und unsere Zeit einfach mega schön gemacht ! Danke auch für das tolle Essen, was so reichlich für uns zum Frühstück und Abendessen zubereitet wurde ! Richtig lecker !!!

I travelled for 3 weeks across Sri Lanka and this was my favorite place I stayed for many reasons. First, the rooms are very clean and spacious and the AC works very well and the property is just beautiful with lovely gardens outside your room and a calm serene environment. Second, the hospitality of the entire family is like nothing I experienced all across Sri Lanka. The daughter, helps to coordinate activities and was always available via text. The mom is an amazing cook and I had some of my best meals here for dinner, lunch c and then the breakfasts are a whole other story! The breakfast is a work of art and so big you cannot finish it. Then the dad is a tuk tuk driver, who is very safe driver and knows all the best spots to go! He is very friendly and I had a lot of fun with him (as I was travelling solo) going to the different temples and historical sights. He had a great sense of humour and is great company! In short, the room was wonderful, the family was even more wonderful, and this was my favorite stay during my 3 week trip! I hope to return again or meet them in the future asI left feeling I had gained three good friends! Thank you for everything Ps. I met a lot of travellers after who stayed in Dambulla and did not like their time as much in the area as I did - I really preferred staying here in Habarana as it was small but had everything you needed from shops, supermarket, safari tours, lake tours, temple access, trains and busses connecting for onward travel

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this homestay highly enough. The hosts were some of the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming people we have met during our travels. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel special. The meals were absolutely incredible—huge, delicious, home-cooked feasts showcasing the best local food. Every meal was a highlight of our stay. The rooms are very clean and great aircon, all set in manicured garden. The property is a short distance from town but host happily took us to town. They also arranged a great safari for us.

A truly lovely place to relax and spend a few days! Wimal (the owner) and his family are truly unique people, always willing to help and always there to welcome us every time we were out and returning back to the resort. The room was clean and tidied up and breakfast was perfect with huge variety.
