Netter Gastgeber. Sehr gute Lage am Strand und sehr gut vom Bahnhof erreichbar, wenn man den Hintereingang findet, welcher direkt an den Gleisen liegt. Google Maps hat es uns nicht richtig angezeigt und der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht uns zu finden.

− Kleine Stellen waren nicht ganz sauber. Pfanne nicht sauber. Kühlschrank mäßig sauber. Im Bad Klopapierhalter mäßig sauber. Hatten sowohl eine große Spinne als auch eine Eidechse in der Unterkunft. Damit muss man auf Sri Lanka wahrscheinlich aber rechnen. :)

Brilliant stay in Hikkaduwa. This place has everything you need and more. The room is very large , with a very large comfortable bed and pillows. There is a kitchenette in the room, which was great to have, electric kettle, a stove and a large fridge ( which was nice for keeping water and beer cold). You are provided with a big wash rack as well. The bathroom is large witb the option for hot water and it has a very good water pressure. The place looks brand new so everything works well. The room has a desk and office chair for those digital nomads, and the WIFI worked great. The owner will go out his way to make your stay comfortable. He is very responsive on booking, answering any questions you have (if you cannot find him on the grounds). On our firsy day, I messaged him and asked for a bucket to wash my swimwear out, a broom and an extra bed cover . Within 5mins he produced everything for me with a big smile on his face. The location is fantastic, you are literally a 5minute walk onto the main street in Hikkaduwa with bars and restaurants, and the beach is right there. We couldnt of asked for more. Thank you for making this a great stay 🙏

Impressive facilities

Great location, 5 minutes maximum from anything. The room itself is huge, even has a fridge and a small kitchen area. Honestly, I’ve stayed in hotels in Sri Lanka and elsewhere the size of the bathroom alone! It felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room! Very impressed with the facilities. Was also given two towels despite being solo, which was a nice touch. Air conditioning works very well. There’s also a lockable storage cupboard available for valuables.

− The bed sheet was very small and inadequate.
