Comfortable , convenient for ferry ,food good will stay again
9.0We had a very nice stay breakfast was good rooms clean & comfortable we had lunch in the pub on arrival which was also very good
− Noisy location from busy road but rooms well insulated so once the door was closed it was fine
Comfortable, clean, excellent breakfast, nice staff.
8.0The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean with good soundproofing. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good. i always worry about staying at a pub in case it is noisy late at night but it was a Saturday and very peaceful.
− This is not the fault of the place itself but it was a very hot night and we didn't feel we could leave the windows open all night because the room was on the ground floor. I suppose if there is another spell of very hot weather a fan in the room might have helped.
No communication
1.0Did not stay as there was nobody there, the doors were locked and nobody answered the bell or phone. We had to find alternate accommodation at the last minute.
Convenient and comfortable.
9.0Hospitality of landlord and other staff. Location ideal for ferry.
− Quality of the evening meal did not match the quality of the breakfast which was excellent, and did not match the quality of the accomodation in general. Chicken in the curry was dry and chewy.
Good place - will be back
9.0Unfortunately we left early but the Harp team provided an excellent bagged breakfast for me.
− I need a VAT invoice for the stay, and still await it. Could you please send to me soonest?
The Harp is fine but there was a very noisy and foul mouthed football team having a celebration in the restaurant. I did
5.0It’s well situated
− The towel rail was on constantly overheating the room. It was very noisy.
