A Comfortable Base for Excursions
10.0I like this place! The owner was very welcoming and always asked what dishes we would like for dinner. He also helped us a lot with arranging excursions. The room itself is a bit old-fashioned, but still OK.

7.0De host was een zeer behulpzame man. Ontbijt was zeer lekker (heerlijke sapjes) en het huisgemaakte diner (Sri Lankaans, uiteraard) was altijd zeer uitgebreid en overheerlijk. Kamer was in orde, niets op aan te merken, prijs kwaliteit klopt dit. Indien Ajax (zo noemt hij zichzelf), de tuk tuk driver, je vraagt of je een tour wil doen met hem: zeker doen. Hij nam ons een volledige dag mee naar alle bezienswaardigheden in Anuradhapura, en ‘s ochtends naar Mihintale: op het einde van de dag hadden we echt alles gezien! Gaf hierbij zowel zelf uitleg als ruimte om zelf op ontdekking te gaan. Prijs hiervoor was een pak lager dan wat je voor andere tours zou betalen.
