10.0Very clean, comfortable stay. Excellent location for us visiting family. Lovely cafes in Meads village for breakfast and Pilot Inn next door for dinner.

10.0Perfect location for walks on Beachy Head and the downs. Great pub next door. Super comfy bed. Handy fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery for simple meals. Thoughtful addition of books about the history of the area. Management were really responsive and flexible with check-in times.
− Hard to fault. The tap in the bathroom was a little low for filling kettles and water bottles, but the management had resolved that by providing a small jug!
Meads village is a lovely place to stay.

− Low ceiling apex. I think it needs a toilet brush and some sort of hanging space.

9.0Lovely quiet spot with great access to the sea, the South Downs Way and local facilities. A very comfortable and clean room. It was a real bonus having a fridge and microwave so I could bring my own food for the hike I was doing there.
− TV programmes were only available via the app, I would prefer live TV if possible.
OK for a short stay
8.0Large comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, kettle & cups. TV.
− Using the toilet for tall males was difficult due to sloping roof. Where the cupboards are they should be much deeper, this will then keep you away from hitting your head on the slopping roof when using the tops. TV was not live, only apps. (notified when I left). A couple of plates / dishes would be good as there is a microwave but nothing to put food on.
