Perfect location, welcoming and informative staff, comfortable beds and a cute little kitchenette made us feel completely at home!

− Given the amount of rain that we had, it would have been helpful to have a little mat to wipe our feet and a place to put our dirty shoes so that we could have kept the floor cleaner.

The best service we've had in 3 months of travelling South and Central America!

We've been travelling South and Central America for 3 months and this was the best service by far! The staff were exceptionally helpful and continually went above and beyond to help us with recommendations and organising shuttles etc. You could tell they weren't simply trying to sell tours (like other hostels) but to genuinely advise you and factor in budget considerations. They also helpfully flexed times for breakfast so we could eat before getting our shuttle on check out day and were generally friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The room and facilities were really clean and well equipped. The location is great too, a very short two minutes walk into the centre with all the restaurants and supermarkets.

− Nothing! It was a great stay. The facilities in the room are basic but with such great value that's what you pay for.

If maintained, it can be an excellent place

The location is good. There is parking available. This place fits well a family. There was a kitchen with very old stuff.

− You fill depressed when you enter the room (apartment). The place is not maintained. Everything is so old

Got changed to another hotel

The breakfast was good and kept full until afternoon. Very nice and friendly staff. They changed my dorm room reservation to a private room but it was in another hotel in the middle of nowhere. I did not mind the new location though but as a solo traveller it was boring to be the only one at the hotel.

− They changed my reservation to another hotel in the middle of nowhere and then tried to sell me shuttle bus service on every possible occasion. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel but they claimed that it was impossible to find the bus schedule. I found the schedule in google in English in about 3 seconds. And the buses run perfectly in time.

Nice stay at family run place

The staff (family) are incredibly helpful. The area is great- within walking distance of the bus stop and all the great cafes, shops, and restaurants. There are also a couple viewpoints not too far away. The bathrooms were shared but huge with hot water showers. The kitchen was also huge. Our private room was comfortable.

− The breakfast was very simple and not the most filling but still a bonus.
