Great property! Loved the birds in the morning- the place was lovely- fire place was beautiful/ huge space. Comfy bed! The host was lovely. The place was exceptionally clean- we noted how hard that would be with such high ceilings so great effort must be taken.

− Overall we loved our stay so don’t take this as a reason not to stay more so a heads up- The shower bath was very small, hard to stand in because of sloping bath walls- had to shower with the whole shower curtain inside which made it hard to balance- the taps had to be used within the curtain (the curtain over the taps) or the whole bathroom would flood- the bathroom is massive so a suggestion to get a different larger sized bath to shower/bath in that’s easier to stand in. Dangerous as there’s nothing to hold onto if you lost balance. Luckily we are in our late 30s early 40s but would be very dangerous to anyone unsteady on their feet. I didn’t shower the last day because of this and used the amenities at the day spa instead. The owner possibly? Using the shed and walking around the property so close to the windows felt invasive as we relied heavily on sunlight we had the blinds partially open- the hanging lights were flickering might need a repair with the dimmer.
