Beautiful views in a cozy cabin
10.0Loved the view - we sat outside often enjoying the changing light. Heating worked well. Bed and furniture were really comfortable. Located close to town and central to the hiking trails.
Disappointed - poorly presented, not worth the $350+ per night
7.0Great location, lovely outlook, central heating and electric blankets made the cabin comfortable during a cool stay, shower was nice, bed was comfortable.
− It was not professionally or neatly presented. An old washing machine right at the front door, musty (?) smell inside, all the curtains were partially closed and very untidy, lamps on the bedside tables were knocked over, broom in the laundry was in the middle of the floor, no milk, shit Nescafe jar coffee, small amount of sugar, mouldy bread board, broken tv, motion lights from the house to the carport only work when you get to the carport, demands from management not to leave the power on while you're out. Dirty sheets. Broken bed in street side room. Moldy breadboard and microwave. Untidy exterior including main power line to the house that looks like it's going to fall at any moment - a disaster waiting to happen. The list goes on. All of the reviews from as far back as 2023 are still valid.... Owner doesn't care about negative feedback it seems. They just want your money and to run.
Perfect cottage to relax up in the Blue Mountains and explore some walking trails while you are there.
9.0The cottage has awesome views onto the escarpment. Close to the Blackheath town centre. Close to numerous walking tracks in the national park. Comfortable bed. Well appointed kitchen.
− The Wifi was hit or miss, sometimes good, mostly poor. The tv reception was bad. Needs a proper espresso coffee machine.
