Excellent stay with family

Such a beautiful & peaceful home that we were able to celebrate my wifes 70th Birthday with our family. Spacious interior with everything you need to cook and host a fantastic getaway.Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean as was living space and all very comfortable. The stunning location was lovely and also close to town which is handy. The showers were great and the deep hot tub bath was luxury. It was a lot cooler down in Denmark than expected but the fireplace was certainly a hit and easy enough to work out. The host provided lots of instructions to help us along the way!

− Household supplies were very limited,for example toilet rolls ,hand towels and rubbish bags for the bin in the kitchen.We had to go to Denmark and buy toilet paper and hand towel which is not ideal and certainly a first for me.

− Beds could have been more comfortable and blockout curtains would be a bonus as the sun rises very early in summer.

Lovely house in a beautiful setting. Very spacious and comfortable furnishings. A local bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch.

− The crockery and cutlery were dirty. We discovered why: the dishwasher does not work properly resulting in us basically handwashing everything and at Christmas time that is a lot…

Size of property was great. Lovely big deck. Felt like we were away from everyone.

− Deck hasn’t been swept. Cigarette butts and filters everywhere and lots of sand. Dirty oven trays in oven.

Stunning home with high quality, comfortable furniture and fittings! The hosts are very keen to ensure guests have a lovely stay with some thoughtful additional touches for our stay, such as the fire being made up for us ready to light on our arrival. The kitchen is well-equipped and all living areas more than large enough for big families or groups. The house could not be any closer to nature, and the modular-style design allows for lots of windows to appreciate the stunning views from all angles. In addition, an abundance of crockery/glassware, high quality bath sheets, a stunning two-sided wood fire and a scrupulously clean home made for a very luxurious and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

− The house is so beautiful we didn't feel the need to go out in the evenings and it would have been nice to have settled down with a film on Netflix (or similar) at the end of the day, but there is no internet/Smart TV. There are plenty of board games provided in the home though to keep you entertained.
