The perfect vacation home - pet friendly!
10.0We had a lovely stay at Ocean Breeze. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The home has everything you need for a short or long term stay and the back deck, yard and verandah are perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. The location is excellent, close to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. The fact that the cottage was pet friendly made our stay all the more perfect. We didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing stay on the South Coast

8.0The property is a walkable distance from town but in a quiet area which was good. The place was nicely decorated and was good for a couple of nights stay.
− Didn’t really like having to park in the grass but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The path in was a bit overgrown … I get that it’s winter and maintenance is probably a bit less often but for us, there were beasties moving in the plants when we came back at night which we weren’t too keen on. The lock was difficult to open and lock from the outside and the shower hit and cold signs were in the wrong way round. Both of these weren’t a huge issue but it might have been good to add instructions on welcoming message so these things were covered. Overall a pleasant enough stay.
Comfortable Family Home
9.0An older house but nicely decorated with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a good shower, a well-equipped kitchen, veranda with BBQ and laundry, plus a small garden with a second toilet outside. Everything we needed was provided and the host was very responsive. The property is dog friendly (1 pet). The location is close to the old Maritime Museum and 5 min walk to the restaurants and shops, 10 min to the beach and jetty where you can hire boats, kayaks and book cruises.
− We appreciated that linen and towels were provided but usually it is AUD30 per person extra. You can bring your own linen. A AUD500 deposit is also required which will be refunded after your stay, provided nothing was damaged, beds weren’t used without linen and only the booked number of people stayed at the property. The latter is just FYI, not a criticism.

9.0Beautiful location. Easy walking distance to town and beach. Accommodation was welcoming and comfortable.
− The construction on backing property. A little disruptive to peace and privacy (part of the fence was down at the time)
