Wunderschönes Ferienhaus für alle, die Natur und Ruhe lieben! Die Lage ist traumhaft – umgeben von Wald, mit Wanderwegen direkt vor der Tür und einem kleinen See, der nach einem gemütlichen 2-km-Spaziergang erreichbar ist. Das große Grundstück mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzplätzen lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.Ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die Kühe, die jeden Tag am Haus vorbeispaziert sind. Der Vermieter war super freundlich, hat uns mit Kaffee begrüßt und tolle Ausflugstipps gegeben. Es gibt mehrere interessante Optionen, die innerhalb 30-40 Autominuten erreichbar sind (z.B. Devils path Wanderweg, yagoninska Höhle, Devils throat Höhle, Eagle Eye Aussichtsplattform) Gut zu wissen: Die letzten 1,5 km der Anreise zum Haus führen über einen nicht asphaltierten Waldweg mit vielen Schlaglöchern. Die Anfahrt ist etwas beschwerlich, dafür wird man mit einer herrlichen Lage mitten in der Natur belohnt. Außerdem gibt es kein klassisches Doppelbett, was uns aber nicht gestört hat.

Authentic Bulgarian experience

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Perika. If you are looking for peace and a truly authentic Bulgarian experience, away from everything – this is the place. The cabin is beautiful and very well maintained, with plenty of firewood, a fish pond with fishing equipment, and a lovely walking trail nearby that leads to a lake where you can swim. The hosts were very nice and welcoming, and we enjoyed their tasty home-cooked food.

− Just note that the road to the villa is a bit challenging for a regular car, but still passable.

Lonely house in Rhodope

If you're looking for loneliness in nature, this place is for you. We spent there three wonderful days,on edge of the forest, with a barbecue corner and a private fishing pond (that my wife appreciated the most). The host, most helpful and friendly, explained us where to hike, where to visit, and - as a bonus - about the history of the area and the people who live there. The house - because you have the whole house for yourself - has anything you need, washing machine (that we used), dishwasher (that we didn't use) and many other devices.

Calm, quiet, and peaceful

The gentleman who we got the keys from was great and then drove us to and showed us the property. The property was fantastic. A great place to stay. Super quiet and a beautiful space. Access to fire-wood and outdoor as well as indoor fire spaces was fantastic for the cool evenings and cooking. The property owners as well as the contact in the area were both wonderful. They were easy to communicate with and quick to return messages. Everything was great! 2 things to think about: 1. Wifi on the property is okay, but there is no data or cell service. 2. The beds are all single beds. Very adaptable, but just be aware

A unique and wonderful stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vila PERIKA near Borino, Bulgaria, and it was an absolutely excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and at ease. It is important to emphasize that the villa is located in the woods, about a 10-minute drive from Borino. The road can be muddy with bumps if it rains, so it's something to be mindful of. The accommodation itself was amazing. It is a two-story old villa with two dining/staying areas outside. The kitchen is highly equipped, and there are two BBQ areas outside near a large lawn and a small flowing river stream next to the house. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to ensure guests had a pleasant stay. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, each with three single beds. The stairs to the upper floor are spiral so careful. There is one toilet and one shower with hot water always available. Additionally, there is WiFi in the villa. The beds were okay, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Bilgin, the host, met us in front of the villa and can meet you in Borino if needed. We communicated via WhatsApp, and he left us with the keys after a short tour. Overall, our two-night stay at this villa was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique stay in the woods with a highly equipped villa and a great garden and lawn for your family to enjoy.

− Two negligible disadvantages to being aware 1. The spiral stairs were fine for us but not for everyone. 2. There is a drain pipe from the boiler that drips all the time, it was directed to a small tub that filled up and wet the entire shower floor, you must pay attention to place it in the shower itself.
