Disappointing
1.0− The check-in experience was bad. The advertised check-in time was 3:00 pm, but when we arrived, the cleaners had only just arrived at the property at around 3:30 pm. The cleaning was not completed until approximately 5:30 pm, meaning we had to wait outside in very hot weather for around two and a half hours. The cleaning appeared to have been rushed and was not sufficiently thorough. After checking in, we had to mop parts of the floor ourselves and rewash several plates, pots, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils before using them. The property management failed to take appropriate responsibility for the delayed check-in and did not handle the situation professionally. We did not receive an apology for the delayed check-in. Instead, we were told that the cleaners were unavailable and that there had been guests checking out. While unexpected issues can arise, I believe bookings should only be accepted when the property can reasonably be prepared by the advertised check-in time. The location was another disappointment. The property is situated directly on a busy high street, and both bedrooms face the road. Because we stayed for 12 days, traffic noise significantly affected our sleep throughout the stay, resulting in disturbed nights and early mornings.

− There was a parking space . But was difficult to park as there was a van parked right opposite the drive. It was a struggle parking my van.

9.0It’s a lovely house, perfect for the 4 of us! Great location and convenient with the beach, restaurants and shopping area on your doorstep. Very well thought out so it was like home from home.
− It needs a deep clean. The towels and bed linen had been washed but there were some stains that were ‘visually unpleasant’ however I called the agents and they dropped fresh linens later that day, so issue resolved promptly. WiFi wasn’t great.
