Quaint, comfortable and convenient
8.0Beautiful cottage that was well appointed with everything we could want or need to prepare meals, wash clothes, TV and stay warm. There was even a Scrabble game, which we put to good use. A perfect and spotless landing pad for our group of three adults.
− The only downside of our stay, and we knew it going in: We couldn't check in early. One traveler was 80 and flying over the Atlantic and not getting any sleep and then driving from Heathrow for 90 minutes wiped him out. And we couldn't check in before 4 p.m. We understood rules are rules. Sadly we watched from the parking area as that empty cottage sat unoccupied and we slept in the car. Rules are rules. We wished there had been some flexibility given we were not coming in right after the previous guests. They were clearly long gone.

The cottage was everything we could have wanted for a Cotswolds weekend- cosy, lovely garden in a quiet village.
