Most enjoyable short stay and we saw all we wanted this visit. Would certainly consider returning.
8.0The geographical location was great for numerous things in the local area and traveling to and from was very easy, good roads and not too busy. THe grounds were pleasant and felt secluded, loved buying the eggs and seeing the chickens. Cottage was well equipped and extremely well thought out and lovely and peaceful. Really great host, vaerious conversations from the start of booking were quickly and kindly responded to.
− it wasn't quite as clean as other properties we have stayed in. The furniture was quite tired.
The cottage delivered just what was advertised, definitely would return.
9.0The Tackhouse was one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Very pretty on the outside and comfortable on the inside. Offstreet quiet - though the village is pretty quiet anyway. The location was perfect, very near my wife's 250 year family farm. The village pub - just a block away - was great (best fish and chips I have had in the UK in a dozen visits).

− Traipsed chicken mess into property as all over path/lawn. Shower very small - need shelf/shower caddy as no room to bend down to pick up shampoo/soap once in shower.

10.0Great communication from booking to departure. Flexible. Friendly and informative. Beautifully presented and cosy cottage with everything required. Lovely comfortable bed with nice soft bed linen we slept so well. We used the spa over our stay and loved it. Such a nice treat.
− Nothing we didn’t like but only small negative is showers are rather small however when staying in a traditional property you have to expect these things. It was warm with lovely shower gel provided.
