Dog hair and mold

This apartment is located on an abandoned work site. The front door to the apartment complex is broken. The smell of wet dog and the amount of dog hair in the hall and up the stairs can cause an asthma attack. The smell if mold as you enter the apartment was overwelming. The kitchen floor was wet and when you walk in there water came up from the floor. This dishwasher was found running, empty whike there were dirty dishes in the cabinent. The washing machine had black smelly water in it. The floors and tabled were dusty and there was old food in the sink. The sheets were clean but stained. On of the beds has a huge wet stain on it. We were left a half a roll of toliet paper and tea towels with bleach stains. For Bath towels we were given 2 small bath towels and 3 hand towels and 2 wash cloths for 3 if us for a week with no way to wash them. The toilet was very hard to flush and had brown stains in the bottom. There were no cleaning supplies. No soap. And the refrigerator had a bad smell. We reached out to management but were afraid to as multiple emails were sent on how we would be billed for services including asking for towels. They sent someone out the next day and turned off the water to the washer and dishe washer. I was refunded $250 ./ or potential relocation in hindsite we should have moved. But not realizing we packed for 5 day and expected to do laundry and the cost of buying new clothes was way more. 2/3 od us have asthma and were sick most of the time due to mold and dog hair. This place has the potential to be nice. But was lacking for our trip.

The location was perfect for exploring the Island. Very peaceful as it is away from any main roads. Lovely views of the harbour.

I really enjoyed my stay. The property was clean and modern.

It was very comfortable and well equipped and suited our purpose for family get together. We had a lovely time.

− Nothing to dislike except that the main stairway to the flat was untidy.
