Perfect for a secluded trip of relaxation.

Amazing venue on the lake had a cosy interior in keeping with the feel of the lodge mixed with the modern kitchen and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and lots of room for my 6'2 partner. Hot tub was ready to go so we were able to take a dip and relax from our journey there. Nothing bad to say and we had the best time, will definitely be back.

Only think I can think of is the 10am departure time, although understandable even if it was 11am it would feel a little more substantial on our stay time factor.

A pleasant stay but could do better considering the cost.

The location was lovely and right next door to a decent pub with good food and on Sunday had live entertainment and a BBQ. The lodge itself was comfortable clean and the hot tub was lovely and warm. Nice area to sit outside overlooking the lake.

Generally the site is a bit tired looking and in need of some TLC. The grass area around the lake could do with a general tidy up and more flowers in tubs or baskets would look more aesthetic. The cabins looked dirty and grubby from outside as you walked past and things like grubby windows and cobwebs all over the outside make it look shabby. I was also disappointed as after 3 nights our towels and toilet roll wasn't replenished. It's a good job we took our own towels to use especially using the hot tub every day and the shower. No way would one towel and a small hand towel be enough. I would advise you take your own and extra loo roll.

Lovely space, nice and quiet, hot tub was amazing, and the little cocktail bar a nice touch

Keys were in the door of the lodge, we were also allowed on site 1.5 hours earlier due to arriving at our destination very early which was lovely. Really close to Longleat and stone henge and only 45 minutes away from cheddar gorge. Overall a lovely place to stay, check in and out was a seamless process. Looking out on the little pond every morning was lovely, saw king fishers and a heron. Also close to town to get bits for your stay and some nice restaurants in Warminster.

You could feel the springs through the mattress which wasn’t the most comfortable sleep, wasnt able to use the TV due to WIFI being very poor, also due to location mobile network wasn’t accessible so I would Expect the WIFI to work. Not a bother if you don’t need to access the internet or watch the tv.

Never again

Really not happy suppose to be here for my anniversary paid for magpie 4 didn't even get nothing close to it then they left a note on the door to say they changed our cabin not even a phone call or email to make us aware of the switch they gave me and my partner the smallest of cabins even though we paid for a big house cabin. Nothing was good about our stay not quite at all had children screaming most of the time while we was staying there the only piece and quite we did have was on the second day and we stayed for 4 nights and only got one days worth of peace and quite the cabin they gave us also was right next door the the reception and the main gate and the main office so early I'm the morning when they would come and start their day they would wake us both up from 7-8 am in the morning again not the rest and peace we both thought we was gonna get and paid for really not happy VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN
