Quiet rural perfection in the most beautiful part of England.
10.0The property was excellently presented throughout, with a superbly well fitted kitchen equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The cottage bedroom is huge with a gorgeous view and mattress! I enjoyed a daily soak in the huge roll top bath. We simply loved the place. The location is only a 5 minute drive from ample amenities, but far enough away from the tourist filled hot spots within the Lakes. It's great to see the regeneration of the northern part of Cumbria, after the floods of 2009 and then Covid. Vanessa is the perfect host. Attentive to her guests, and just a lovely person.
− The fridge door needs adjusting, but then I'm a bit OCD! There is nothing whatsoever that would stop us from staying here again,.

10.0This place was amazing I loved the big walk in shower and the hot tub dident have time to test the huge bath but hopefully coming back in July so il defo be getting in that😃the lady was lovely and very helpful when it came to knowing places to visit and places to eat and she also baked us a lovely cake
