Perfect for what we wanted, could have been a little cleaner.
8.0The area was just perfect for what we wanted to do. The cottage was comfortable and quiet. Perfectly situated. Tea,coffee and sugar.
− The kitchen utensils were very sparse. No decent glasses for beer or wine. No scissors! No written information on WiFi, hot water and the general running of the cottage. No information/maps, of things to do in the area, only restaurants in the online cottage information. Nice idea leaving a packet of filter coffee, but no coffee pot! On arrival, door and key (safe wide open) open, linen bag and a 4 litre water bottle left in in porch,ike some one was in a hurry to leave and forgot. Cobwebs galore!
Peaceful countryside escape
9.0Beautiful, peaceful location in the Scottish countryside, close to hiking trails and not too far from the Highlands. We had an amazing time staying here.

6.0Lovely quiet location with very nice views. Bed linen and towels clean. Welcome hamper a nice treat.
− Unfortunately just not very clean. The whole place needs a deep clean and proper pet hair removal. The surfaces were very dusty but the big issue was dog hair on all the soft furnishings (sofa downstairs particularly bad). Our baby is crawling so we couldn't stay in the house when he was up as he just got covered in dust/pet hair, sadly this meant we didn't have a great experience staying here. If sorted this would be a lovely holiday spot. Very small additional point - please provide a cafetiere so we can use the nice filter coffee from the welcome basket!

7.0The location was fantastic. Really comfy bed. Massive wardrobes. Warm. Good shower.
− Some missing items in the kitchen like oven mits. No milk on arrival, luckily we had bought some. No blind in the shower room. No DVD player, even though was mentioned in the itinerary. We were told that the code for the keybox would be sent to us before we arrived, but on arrival, I had to telephone and ask for it instead.
