10.0We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Whittonlodge while celebrating my brother’s stag weekend. From the moment we arrived, John and Kim made us feel incredibly welcome – they are genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive hosts who go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. The accommodation itself was perfect for our group: comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious enough for everyone to have their own space while still enjoying time together. Whether it was relaxing in the hot tub, making the most of the BBQ, or having a laugh around the pool table, there was something for everyone and it really added to the whole experience. Another big highlight was the location – it’s only about a 12-minute taxi ride into Chesterfield, which made for an outstanding pub crawl. The locals there were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which just topped off an already brilliant weekend. What really stood out, though, was how available and helpful John and Kim were throughout our stay. Whether we had questions, needed recommendations, or just a bit of guidance, they were always on hand with a smile. Their hospitality truly made a big difference, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I couldn’t recommend Whittonlodge more highly – it’s a brilliant place to stay, and we’ll definitely be back in the future!

9.0Perfect venue for our hen party! Plenty of space inside and out, lots of fridges and storage areas. Pub nearby was also really nice Would definitely go back !
− A small issue with the hot tub not working, but the owner came to try and fix it whilst we was there.

What a place Whittonlodge is!
10.0What a great weekend we have just had at Whittonlodge. We were greeted on arrival by the most welcoming hosts and were given a tour of the house. As the turned around every corner we were more amazed at just how big the house was and everything it had. All the rooms were spacious and had the added bonus of all being en suite. We loved the living room as we had plenty of room for all of us to gather and we did not feel crowded. The place was clean, well equipped and we all felt very comfy. We have just had the best hen do and it is all thanks to Whittonlodge! They answered any questions that we had and we knew they were on hand if we needed them! Thank you!
