That it was across street from family.

− The house was grimey. From the grease laden mouldy pans in the DIRTY oven. To the broken table. The rubbish left i. Back garden that our grandchildren found. The place needs a deep clean.

Leaving.

− There are many ‘D’ words I would use to describe this property and delightful is not one of them. Booked this for a much needed break away and arrived at a filthy house stinking of cigarette smoke and smelly dog. Having paid £50 extra to take our own dog, we didn’t appreciate having to sit on a dirty sofa covered in another dog’s hair. The sofa stunk and so did our clothes by the time we left. The overpowering plug-in air freshener did nothing to mask that, or the constant smell of smoke which was so strong in every room including the bedrooms, it began causing both of us to cough. Most concerning was that the property did not even meet the most basic of fire safety requirements for a rental property. Neither smoke detector worked; there weren’t enough of them throughout the house; the fire blanket in the kitchen was ancient and filthy, covered in dust and grease and clearly had not been compliance-checked in a very long time. As if this wasn’t enough, the other issues were many; the shower only worked on the central jets and was not adjustable at all; towels and bedding were dirty and stained; the kitchen was covered in grease and dust, prior to our arrival some sugar had been spilt all over the counter and the open bag had just been left on a plate in the cupboard; cutlery, crockery and glasses were dirty and had to be washed prior to use. The list of health and hygiene complaints is endless. Upon discovering the smoke detectors weren’t working and considering the constant smell of smoke, the decision was made to move out on the basis that the property was unsafe and unfit. The owner was contacted by text with the above information and agreed to a full refund and for us to find alternative accommodation which we did. What followed was a series of confrontational messages from the owner whenever I did not answer his call immediately, and still no refund. This property is unsafe, unhygienic and should not be available to rent.

− PROPERTY WAS GRUBBY, NOT AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS, WITH BASIC OLD FASHIONED TV.

The house is modern, very clean and a home from home. We couldn't fault a thing.

The attention to detail was exceptional, the sweets left on each towel was so lovely, my 3 year old grandson was thrilled. The location was so close to our sons wedding at Elmore Court. Would highly recommend,

− The initial concern was not being able to park outside the house and not being able to keep an eye on our car but we had no problems. The property does not give a holiday home vibe but was perfect for our purpose.
