− The place (surroundings) and hospitality did not feel premium, so the price should have been significantly less. No service at all (new towels, linens, garbage disposal for the 5 days/4 nights there

Lovely place to stay - 5 mins walk from fabulous sandy beaches
10.0Lovely spacious ground floor apartment with sea views, patio, outdoor shower. 5 mins walk from the best sandy beaches on Ios (and the nicest beaches I've been to in Europe). Maria and her family were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and informative. We spent two very enjoyable weeks here and did a mixture of self catering and eating out at the three tavernas in Magganari (all good). As the nearest shop is a 40 min drive away (in Chora) you need to take drinking water and supplies with you. Maria can organise a supermarket delivery during your stay. We hired a car at the beginning and end of our stay - to get us to and from Magganari. You don't really need a car when you're there. This is an amazing remote beach destination and a great place to stay. And, by the way, the photos don't do the apartment justice, it's really nice.
− Only suggestion would be to add a couple of decent chopping knives to the kitchen equipment. Useful for longer stays when you want to do a bit of cooking.
