Great place to stay in Kamares
8.0The house was big enough for our family of 6. The washing machine was a great bonus. There is a private cove near the house which we loved for swimming. The location is within walking distance of everything in Kamares.
− The house is hard to find the first time. It is difficult to park near the house. If you have trouble walking or climbing, this place is not for you.

10.0The house is amazing, the rooms are big and bright with view on the sea, spacious kitchen and living room. There are 2 balconies with view on the sea, probably the best on the island- we sat there taking breakfast or looking at the sunset in the afternoon. The place has 2 big bathrooms fully equipped and laundry machine. Giorgos, the owner, was waiting for us at the port the moment we arrived holding a sign with my name 😍 he bought local treats for us and handmade marmalade! Overall our stay at Giorgos house was the best part of our holiday and I would definitely 💯 go back to this lovely island and house!

10.0The house is a Real traditional Cicladic House built in the seventies where the host actually lived. This makes the whole difference from those built to be rented out to tourists. The view of the bay is spectacular. The house is the last one of the village and therefore extremely quiet. It is, however, a few minutes away on foot from the dock, restaurants, shops, etc. The host gifted us a number of traditional products: ceramic cups, extra virgin olive oil, honey, a home made fig jam and several others things. He and his wife had the 3 of us over for (a wonderful) dinner! He knows a lot about the history and real life of Sifnos. Sifnos with his mining and ceramic traditions, with its archeological sites and museums (Kastro is a jewel and the Mycenaean acropolis of the 13th century B.C.E. is impressive) has a lot to offer. Plenty of sand beaches with easy access into the water and trees.
− The cleaning can be slightly improved. We were the first guest of the season and maybe there was no time for in depth cleaning.
