Very comfortable, convenient, the house was lovely was all the decorations and amenities, Maria is amİng -so helpful and positive and always there if you need. We liked the location because it aas close to a small town bur in the house, you are in nature surrounded by green. The garden is beautiful. Anything you need in the house, it's there.

− Because it's in nature and has a garden, lots of ants and bees and similar ones. There are okay but just something to consider if anyone is scared about them.

Perfect base for a mix of relaxing and seeing the archeological sights.

Beautiful garden and pool, watching sunset over the coast from the garden, super helpful host (thank you Maria) with thoughtful touches such as sharing location and closing time of nearest supermarket on our way to property so we could stop on route.

Charming vintage cottage with private pool and beach access

We had a wonderful stay in this vintage-style cottage, just a 3-minute walk from the beach. The photos reflect the place perfectly—full of charm and character. The private pool was a highlight, kept clean daily with a robot, and offered complete privacy. The host was amazing—friendly, easy to communicate with, and gave us full space even though she lives across the cottage. She generously stocked the fridge for us and the kitchen had plenty of items like pasta, sauces, and biscuits that we were free to use. Do note that this is a true vintage cottage—don’t expect modern finishes or high-tech features. The lighting inside is on the dimmer side, which adds to the cozy feel but might not suit everyone. Overall, we loved the peaceful, nostalgic vibe and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. A great spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Maria was a very welcoming host, ready and willing to help us with anything and recommend things to do in the area! The house was very quiet and well located in the south of Athens, 30 mins from the airport and about an hour drive from Athens! Nice beaches and restaurants around. Highly recommended!

The property is delightful. A lovely 2 bed cottage with a nice garden and swimming pool, away from the city chaos, just 500m from the sea. While the property is not kitted out with the latest tech or facilities, it is as you would expect someone’s everyday home to be like. What makes it, is the 24/7 on call host Maria! She is so lovely and wants to make sure you get the most out of your time, be it suggestions for activities, meals, or to make you comfortable. The fridge and cupboards were prepped with a few staples (and wine!) to get us through the first day at least. She is so happy and kind and really made us feel welcome! The house had all the kitchen gear we needed to cook and eat well, when we stayed in. With a washing machine and dishwasher, it also made life very easy. Our only sadness was the dip in temperature that meant the pool was freezing! Didn’t stop us trying it out, everyone knows that time spent in very cold water is good for you! Needless to say, the sea was warmer and just a 5 min walk away to find a small basically private beach - dreamy! Finally, we didn’t do Athens cultural bits, and instead enjoyed the local area, including a beautiful sunset visit to Temple of Poseidon, just 13 mins away.

− Nothing bad about the property, but worth noting it is 45mins to an hour to get into Athens, if that’s what you want.

− Maria is quite hospitable and pleasant as a person. But there are some things we didn't like and they are worth writing about. Firstly, booking the house for such a price, we expected it to be a separate private house, but in fact it turned out to be a shared house with the owners, even though it is divided into two halves and they live in the other part of it. It felt like there was some presence and control from the other side, especially in terms of adjusting the positioning of the sun loungers by the pool. There was also no BBQ facility, it says there is one but we were not allowed. Nice pool area.
