Sehr süßes Appartment in einem schönen Strandhaus, toller Blick auf das Meer, Ausstattung war sehr gut, wir hatten alles, was wir für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben uns bei all unseren Problemen geholfen. Guter Parkplatz vorhanden, der wunderschöne Strand ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt und nachts schläft man bei Meeresrauschen ein. Marina di Ascea ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, wenn man Cilento erkunden möchte. Guter überdachter Parkplatz vorhanden.

Large comfortable apartment near the sea

We enjoyed staying in our spacious and bright two-bedroom modern apartment near the sea. The high ceilings, the large windows and the white walls ensured an airy, holiday feeling. The overall design and the restrained decoration reinforced that feeling. It was very definitely chilly in the apartment when we checked-in in early April, but the large air-conditioners provided enough heat to warm up gradually the essential rooms of the apartment. Fortunately, after checking us into the apartment, Lucia returned with a very large warm quilt, and that did much to make our initial 24-hours thoroughly comfortable. The apartment is satisfactorily equipped. The appliances including the washing machine worked properly. The WiFi worked well. Given that the cold water is very very cold, the temperature setting of the (new) hot water heater is too low, certainly too low to permit two short showers at this time of year. Whether the current setting would be sufficient for a large family in July is not at all clear. The apartment is properly supplied with respect to crockery, cutlery, towels, bedding, etc. We were the only ones using the large parking area of the building so parking was, of course, no problem. The process of checking-in is fairly complex because no one works or lives on-site and because neither the building nor the apartment is distinctly identified. The managers of the building might like to introduce the use of key lock-boxes: that system, widely used it Italy and elsewhere, might greatly facilitate the process of checking-in and checking-out. In any event Lucia was friendly and helpful.

− The apartment is certainly comfortable but there is room for improvement. It did not matter in early April, but there are no curtains at all: in summer when the adjacent houses and apartments are occupied, guests would need to choose between relying on the shutters and living in a "fishbowl". There are no lamps in the apartment, only ceiling lights with on/off switches near the door to each room. Not a big problem but not conducive to cosy bed-time reading. Aside from the large trash containers in the kitchen, there are no other waste bins in the apartment -- not even in the bathroom.
