8.0Size of plot was great as we were artists and we could paint from the property. The lounge with the fireplace was great in the evenings too.
− One more bathroom would have been helpful and somewhere inside to eat at a table.
A pleasant place for a weekend stay.
7.0The property is located some distance up the Hunter Valley so is reasonably quiet. The house is comfortable and the fire was a welcome addition to the living area. While it would have been too dangerous to walk on the road, there is a mown area between paddocks to stretch one's legs and take a dog for a walk.
− While I received quite a few emails and messages before our weekend, I wasn't told about the driveway entry to the property (which isn't well signposted) so all three car loads missed it. Nor was I told where the key would be located. Luckily, I arrived during daylight so had time and sufficient light to look for the key (which I found located in a lockbox).
