Staying together as a club during our competition was valued by us all.

It suited our club for our 2 nights stay. The main kitchen and living area was large enough for all of us to socialise. Bathrooms appeared to have been recently updated, and showers were excellent.

− We couldn’t get some keys to open external doors at back of one of the houses. One of the futon beds in the large living area had a hard ridge along the middle that made it really difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Fortunately there were enough beds we could change arrangements for the 2nd night. Unfortunately, and not the fault of the property owners, 2 dogs at a neighbouring house barked persistently until the small hours of each morning, making a good night’s sleep impossible.

The location was convenient and the staff was lovely and helpful

− The beds were very uncomfortable springs digging into our backs, the towels were that old and ratty I had to go to supermarket and buy some as they were atrocious. There was faeces on the wall in the toilet, cockroaches under the sink

Spacious home in a great location but cleanliness needs significant improvement

We stayed over the Easter long weekend as a family and appreciated the spacious, bright layout of the house. The location is convenient, just a short drive from supermarkets, restaurants and other services.

− The overall cleanliness was below standard as also reported in some other reviews. We found pet hair on the floors in every room, and on the sofa covers. Although we were told the cleaner would replace the covers, this never happened during our four‑day stay so we received a $40 reimbursement for the inconvenience. We also noticed a few cockroaches and dead bugs in cupboards and around the house, despite being told it had been sprayed recently. I ended up wiping all the floors and cleaning the surfaces on our first day instead of simply walking into a clean house and starting our holiday. With improved cleaning standards, this property could offer a much better experience.

Suitable for the basics

Plenty of space for all seven of us and conveniently located

− The place wasn’t very clean. Soap dispensers weren’t filled and very little toilet paper provided. Given the number of people staying, these should have been taken care of.

Good accommodation for a trip to Nowra

It was a standard accommodation and had the necessary facilities such as an air conditioner and wifi.

− Way too many beds in the main bedroom. If I was coming with three kids, I definitely would not want them in the same room as me but there are two other rooms that can be used for children.
