Lily's cottage is a quaint cottage set close to a small village, Coolaney. The village has two good grocery stores, a pharmacy, and a few establishments to get a bite to eat. Sligo town is not too far, and also other nearby towns again to get the necessary items while away. The house was immaculate and comfortable, with a good-sized kitchen fully equipped and a washer. The house had all the necessary things provided to enjoy our stay, even board games that were enjoyable for young and old. There is a beautiful garden and views of sheep and a church from the front. The host, Josephine, was so lovely and accommodating, and we couldn't say enough about the place and the area. Beaches are nearby, and so are some of the most wonderful hiking trails. We would highly recommend this place for those who enjoy the same.

Beautiful Home Away from Home in the Heart of the West

This cosy country cottage was everything we hoped for. Clean and comfortable with great facilities including laundry, TV room (with Netflix) and a spacious kitchen/dining room. Josephine was a lovely host and gave us our privacy while also making sure we had her contact details if we needed her for anything. The cottage is located in a beautiful part of the Sligo countryside while the nearby village of Coolaney (literally 2 minutes drive away) is home to Bella & Brava, an authentic Italian restaurant that does AMAZING pizzas and offers takeaway so you can enjoy their food while hanging out at Lily's cottage.
