Disappointing Property
4.0Key code sent day before arrival. Good location. Kitchen reasonably well appointed (apart from kettle).
− No hot water on day of arrival, though host did come to sort out the boiler fairly promptly. One morning we found a cockroach in the kitchen sink! There was a smell of damp in the property plus the bathroom had a strong drains smell. Front garden uncared for - lots of weeds, back garden sparsely furnished. The beds were extremely hard, pillows dreadful. Two family members were supposed to be staying with us but refused! Would not recommend.

8.0The house itself is nicely designed, furnished and equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms were nice, and the back porch and large balcony are very pleasant places to sit. Everything worked as it should.
− I think the location of this property is not ideal for an off season visit, as the houses directly to our right and two doors over to the left were doing maintenance or (noisy) renovations. Since they are terraced houses, the neighbors are right next to you. Most weekdays we didn’t want to be in the property from about 9am-4pm because of the noise. I suspect that most owners try to do renovations in the winter months and during the main tourist season this is not an issue.
