The visit was great and allowed us to all be together for our celebration. I would do this again!
10.0We came up to the Casita Mistica to celebrate a birthday weekend for my brother. Not know what to expect, we were all very pleasantly surprised by what we found. The house even though it does not have air conditioning had portable air conditioners on and waiting for us. There were fans available throughout the house, so there were no issue with heat. The home is nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We also had Chester come and visit us a couple of times to check up on us. It was a very enjoyable stay! The owner was very responsive to all my questions beforehand and was very accommodating throughout the entire process.
− I did have to change weekend dates a week after I reserved the date, to a later date. I was charged an additional amount of $230. That seemed a bit steep to me. Almost the cost of an extra night.
Spent New Years weekend at both the Casita and the AirStream. Loved both of them!
10.0Provided all the amenities and kitchen accessories needed during our stay. Cabin was very comfortable and warm despite the very cold weather at night. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. They were even generous enough to discount the pet fee for us. This was our third time staying on the property and we look forward to many more stays in the future.

Great location, but the lumpy beds ruined it.

− The beds had low and high spots and nobody got any rest from the bad beds. The two couch's were back breakers. We will not be back. The owners should replace the beds.
Pretty house and views
7.0The setting was beautiful. I liked the little back yard area with the hammocks and the open breezeway between the kitchen and one of the bedrooms.
− Was not provided with check-in details. I had to call a couple of different times after sending messages and emails with no response, to get the code for the house. Not enough towels, not enough things to be able to cook with. It was bare essentials in that department. The sign said to do your dishes, but no dish soap was provided. It also stated to collect all the trash, but there were no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can. The living room furniture was not exactly comfortable.bone of the couches had staples coming up and out where it was supposed to be attaching the leather to the frame. The two little chairs would topple over cause the supports on the bottom were messed up. One of them was broken and unsafe to sit in. The rock floor in the living room was beautiful, but the ledges were difficult to navigate without falling. Staying with smaller kids could definitely be difficult and unsafe in the living room area.
