10.0The Iron Chapel was unique and beautifully restored. We loved the interesting facts about the chapel and its history too. It was clean and very well equipped and our host was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A truly lovely stay.

9.0een inspirerend gebouw met fantastische details. Het was vroeger een kapel van een dorp -gebouwd van ijzer - maar toen het te klein was hebben de bewoners er een grotere kapel naast gezet van steen. De huidige eigenaren hebben de IJzeren kapel eerst opgeknapt en verhuren deze ruimte. Nu is men bezig met de grote kapel. De omgeving is fantastisch om te fietsen wandelen, te golfen - op loopafstand en om met de trein naar Newcastle te gaan.

9.0Het is een historisch gebouw dat met veel smaak en leuke gekke details omgetoverd is tot een fijne vakantie accommodatie. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ligging is in een heel rustig wijkje vlakbij de rivier de Tyne.
