Wonderful Waterfront Paradise

Wonderful location directly on the water with lots of privacy since there is no neighbor on one side and shrubbery blocking the view of the neighbor on the other side. The host was very helpful and wanted everything to be perfect for us. There were 10 chaise lounges, 3 umbrellas, 2 slingback chairs, a large picnic table under a vine covered pergola plus another table with 4 chairs in the sun. An alcove closer to the water offered a settee and 2 chairs with a coffee table. Nice combination of sunny and shady options. There is a two person kayak with backrests and lifevests and a stand up paddle board. The pool was sparkling clean and about 4 1/2 feet deep and there was a big inflatable water toy to use in the pool. A set of weights was there for exercise. Parking was easy. Each room had its own air conditioner. Full size refrigerator and well equipped kitchen. We were able to use the washing machine to catch up on laundry after traveling for awhile. Nearby Slano (about 10 minutes away) had two small convenience markets and Ston (about 20 minutes away) had a large Plodine grocery market. We enjoyed the proximity to the wineries on the Peljesac Peninsula and visited a few of them. More than anything though, we loved the tranquility, quiet and privacy while watching boats occasionally pass by as we sat by the water. We highly recommend this property and hope we are lucky enough to return someday!

A superb villa in an amazing location

This is a stunning villa. The location could not be better if you like being by the sea. A car is essential and access to the property is down a relatively steep hill but manageable for a medium sized car or larger. We loved being by the sea with a great pool and access to a kayak and paddleboard. Maro and his parents were perfect hosts and helped us during the week including on the last day before we flew home. The villa is accessible from Dubrovnik and we visited there twice in the week. We also drove to Bosnia (30 mins away) and Montenegro (90 mins away) - Montenegro is stunning and equal to Croatia. We thought that we would need to use the sofa bed in the lounge but our hosts had an extra bedroom for my son which we weren't expecting.

− The drive is a little steep and the additional bedroom is in a slightly unfinished part of the villa. This did not detract from our stay.

Traumhafte Lage!

The best location possible! Private access to the see, great view. Neighbours only on one side but it is also a private house, no noise or disturbance It is just 50 off the main road but you do not see any traffic and can hardly hear anything. It is close enough to Dubrovnik (25 min drive) and at the same time far enough not be annoyed by the ridiculous hordes of tourists there
