10.0The location was fantastic, and the property itself was incredibly comfortable. It’s a beautiful converted cottage with plenty of character, making it the perfect place to stay. There were also lots of lovely things to see and do nearby.
− The only thing we didn’t like was having to check out the next morning, we could happily have stayed much longer!
Excellent place to stay
10.0Friendly welcome from the host and milk, eggs and biscuits provided by her. Sofa very comfortable. Free off-road parking. Everything really.
− Shower could benefit from adjustment. Water force very strong and couldn’t find a way to regulate it.
Stylish, comfortable and very well equipped, very lovely
10.0Beautifully furnished and equipped - just a very comfortable, very pleasant little house. The location is stunning. And so peaceful. Didn’t take photos - too busy walking in the superb countryside and bird watching! Love the place.
− There’s not really an outside space as such. But, given where the property is, that’s such a churlish, silly criticism!

9.0The property was in a great location, just a short drive from Church Stretton where we set off on our 11-mile hike. The converted barn was spacious and cosy with a very well-equipped kitchen, and both bedrooms were a generous size with comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower. Overall it was a quiet, peaceful and very comfortable stay. The only thing we'd change is booking for longer. We barely had time to dip into the extensive library, and left wishing we'd had an extra night just to relax and read. We'll definitely be back for the hiking and mountain biking in the Shropshire Hills, and next time we won't be rushing off after one night. Highly recommended.
