4.0Die aussergewöhnliche Lage, direkt am Meer.
− Leider war die Ausstattung nicht so vorhanden wie beschrieben. Ein Haartrockner wurde auf Nachfrage nachgereicht, andere Geräte fehlten. Eine Heizung gab es nicht, weshalb unsere Abende und Nächte im Mai ziemlich kalt waren. Dazu kommt, dass die Abflüsse im Bad stark gerochen haben, was sich erst nach 2 Tagen langsam besserte. Alles in allem ist Casa do Mar ein sehr schöner Ort, aber durch die oben genannten Punkte stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit fast EUR 200.-/Nacht für uns überhaupt nicht.

9.0My boyfriend and I would like to express our gratitude to the host for a very warm welcome! She was very friendly and explained where everything is located and how to get to the festival, which was the reason for our visit. The location is stunning, with the house situated right on the oceanfront. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a breathtaking view! The house has everything you need: a kitchen with all cooking appliances, a bathroom with a hairdryer, towels, and soap provided. The beds are comfortable, and everything was overall clean and cozy. The train station is only a 5-7 minute walk away, and there’s a grocery store nearby. The only thing is that we probably arrived during a "windy" period, and in the evenings it was a bit chilly outside, so I recommend bringing pants and a sweater as backup clothing. We were very satisfied with our stay! It’s a place of extraordinary natural beauty where you can truly experience the wild nature. Those who enjoy a peaceful and quiet getaway will love it. By the way, the big waves at the beach offer an opportunity to take surfing lessons, which is definitely a plus!
