A wonderful, comfortable stay at The Hermitage, it was a home away from home.
10.0The property was so comfortable and homely, enjoyed all the spaces and cosy spots the house offered. The bathrooms were beautiful, the underfloor heating was wonderful especially during the winter visit.
− Only one setback, the BBQ just wasn’t quite big enough for a party of 12.

− We thought it was cheap that the base rate didn't include a stock of firewoood and that late checkout cost extra given how much we were paying for the place.

9.0We loved the rooms, space and facilities in this gorgeous house. We appreciated that we could organise for firewood to be available on our arrival.
− Quite a few door knobs were faulty or coming off. The toaster stopped working after 2 days. The main bathroom’s shower leaked all over the floor. In a couple of bedrooms, there were no storage facilities for clothes.
Our group enjoyed our 4 day stay, but several small problems were disappointing.
8.0Spacious, great for a group, nicely appointed. Heating was good. Pretty garden. Could walk to town.
− Needed a little maintenance. Some doors could not be opened. No towel rails in one bathroom. On a main road so noisy in front bedrooms. Expensive appliances but Aga stove not easy to use.
