I you like remote you will like this
7.0Totally remote, Our dog was enclosed and free to wonder in garden. Goats, geese, peacocks etc in next field. Watching a herd of deer bed down for the night in opposite field just a few yards away. Basic decor but well equipped
− Access road could be challenging to non confident drivers. Next field owners dogs were massive and imposing. Lots of live/ dead bugs in house..... not sure if it had been used for a while. Never saw owner and did not respond to a question I had via booking

The evaluation of any place is would you go back and Yes I would.
8.0It certainly was tucked away, but there again, most places are on the Island. It was a great location to explore the whole of the island. The beaches on Harris were only 45 minutes away, and Uig Sands was only about 50 minutes away. The cottage was nice and had everything to make it "home" for a week. After a day's work, my husband would mix the cocktails, I'd set the fire, and we would both relax nice and snug.
− The person who kept the menagerie at the bottom of the drive. This would be totally outside the owner's control. The geese took exception to our car, but after the second meeting, they moved out of the way quickly enough.
A fantastic stay
10.0Spacious and well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. The host went above and beyond to help us and we’d definitely return. The bottle of wine was also appreciated!
