Lovely area close to the Dales and the Moors
7.0Location was nice and the view was nice as advertised. Facilities were clean and host had provided starter items such as hand soap and toilet paper.
− The heating system kept everyone up all night making terrible banging noises every time it turned on. The only way to get any sleep was to turn the heat right down which made it very cold in the building. Also we had to use cold water to wash with, not ideal.
Lovely stay, perfect for what we needed. Would definitely book again.
8.0The lodge was very clean and modern. Location was perfect with lovely views. Very comfortable and Jude was very attentive on arrival.
− Some of the windows couldn’t be opened as they were locked and we couldn’t find the key, for example we couldn’t open the bathroom window. The blinds/curtains in the bedrooms were thin and not blackout so the rooms were very light on a morning. There was no tea/coffee or oil for cooking despite having the facilities.
Not recommended unless you bring every single thing with you and don’t mind sleeping by a noisy road

− Terrible. Small, poky, near noisy road, not even a tea bag, no shower wash or soap. And a long way from the nearest shop. Dreadful.
