I love Suffolk and this rural / coastal area didn’t disappoint. Comfortable cottage
8.0Great spacious cottage in a quiet location near the coast. Enclosed garden safe for dogs and would be lovely to sit outside in the summer. Bed was very comfortable, Kitchen had everything I needed. No dishwasher even though it was listed but no big deal. Good local store nearby, would suit most needs if you didn’t want to travel far. The property owner was very helpful when I thought there was a problem during my stay. Also a kind neighbour knocked when we had a power cut to explain it was the whole area.
− WiFi virtually non existent, probably can’t be helped but was a negative for me especially as only basic TV available. Property bookings managed by agency and when I asked about lighting as I would arrive in the dark, the answer was there will be street lighting. This was incorrect, it was very dark. A light on in the property would have been welcoming. Luckily I had my dog walking head torch with me 😀

A perfect holiday home
10.0I cannot find the words to describe how much we loved staying in Hollyhocks. As soon as we stepped in we felt at home and wished we were staying for 2 weeks instead of one. Absolutely exceptional accommodation that provided everything, I mean everything, that we needed. Spotlessly clean and warm and very comfortable. Our dog also loved it in the secured garden and the surrounding area for walks is stunning. So much to do only a short drive away. Just perfect. Thank you :)
