Lovely cottage in a great location

Alan met us at the property to show us around and hand over the keys. The cottage was exceptionally clean and very comfortable and had everything you needed (and more) and some lovely treats. Communication with Alan was easy and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. The laminated walking routes were a great idea and there were plentiful cleaning supplies, such as dishwasher tablets, which you don't always get. I can't recommend Hawkshead Cottage enough!

It was a great place to stay cool during heatwave. The house was fully stuffed, really spacious and clean.

Helpful hosts. Had everything could want in kitchen etc. Some lovely and appreciated little extras. Lovely outside space with places to sit and eat, and cushions for the benches etc.

A gem of a cottage in a peaceful location. Hosts were absolutely delightful. The cottage is decorated and equipped really well including a Well equipped kitchen and the most comfortable bed with a gorgeous view of the countryside. The shower is spacious too! A lovely local brewery at the end of the road serving food and with a nice beer garden only added to the charm. A wonderful weekend. We will be back.

As always nothing to not like Great location handy for 4 excellent local pubs and a brewery but also incredibly quiet Village location but 15mimuet walk to shops and town centre The cottage is clearly loved by owner abd sisters alike

We had a lovely stay in Hawkshead cottage. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could ask for. Beautiful personal touches. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Alan who was very helpful and a great host. He suggested a lovely walk & pub to eat Thai food. 10/10 from us.
